Message	to make a long story short, my sis took my jetta to school to transport stuff for the weekend. she slid in the rain and rearended another car. she was not listed in my insurance plan and the accident occurred in another state. the damage was only slight (very cosmetic) but they want $1000 for it. they gave us an option of paying that out of our pockets or getting my insurance company involved. would my insurance rate hike up even if my sis got involved in the accident with my car? again, she is not listed as one of the driver on my insurance plan AND this happened in another state.
